The new, fifth part under the account of game serial Silent Hill will appear on consoles Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. It was declared Akira Yamaoka, by the composer of a serial, and also the producer of games Silent Hill 3 and 4.

Besides Yamaoka has declared, that company Konami has decided to return to the principles incorporated in early series of game. The producer has mentioned, that SH5 will be closer to the second, instead of to the fourth part, ” from the point of view of management and behaviour of the character “. We shall remind, that founders Silent Hill 4 have refused many things, habitual to admirers of a serial.

In parallel Konami works above Silent Hill: Origins for portable console PlayStation Portable. Game should appear on sale in the third quarter 2007.
